“Vinsanto”, which was produced on the island of Santorini in the Middle Ages and used for communion in Orthodox churches, is now one of the most famous and popular sweet wines in the world. The grapes for this special wine come from vines over a hundred years old in vineyards near the villages of Megalochri, Pyrgos, Exo Gonia and Akrotiri.
A mystical mahogany colored nectar that takes seven and a half years to mature. After that time it develops its full aroma of chocolate, caramel, espresso and nuts as well as dried raisins, figs and honey. A special drop that still has a sacred appeal today and offers an incomparable taste experience!
