“Le Vigneron Grec”, the “Greek winemaker”, is the reason why our opinion about white wines has fundamentally changed. It is a so-called “orange wine” whose grapes grow at an altitude of 800 meters in Sofiana (Corinthia). This noble wine owes its name to its extraordinary amber color, which offers an extraordinary sight! It reveals the aromas of nutmeg and saffron, peach and apricot in combination with lime blossom and dried rose petals, and later of boiled pears and apricots.
This is combined with notes of Mediterranean herbs, black tea, subtle vanilla as well as malt and fennel. The taste reveals an unsurpassable lime aroma with pear compote, vanilla, butter and honey. A unique taste that is reminiscent of an extremely noble lychee mixture. Decanting the wine reveals its full splendor!
